ELM TREE MAZE MEANDER
AND BLACKSMITH GALLERY
1444 Wimbledon Road NEWBRIDGE NSW 2795

Come and enjoy a meander through our beautiful Elm Tree Maze, an oasis of hundreds of sucker trees that originated from their very old parent trees – Rock Elm trees (or Cork Elm), Ulmus thomasii. The sucker trees are so densely packed together, that they now form a maze of hedges with meandering paths leading to tranquil spaces. Rock Elms are a deciduous tree and they undergo a breathtaking transformation during October, something that we eagerly await each year. The Blacksmith Gallery is a short stroll from the Elm Tree Maze – watch a blacksmithing demonstration by Tom Miller, and see displays of his work in the silo and container galleries. Our visitors to the Gallery always find the Elm Tree Maze to be an unexpected and delightful surprise in what was once a sheep paddock many years ago.
